What I Wish I’d Known About Life Postpartum

October 30, 2019 By Ashley McKeown Leave a Comment

What I Wish I’d Known About Life Postpartum: Becoming a mom changes you, and I had no idea how much I would change postpartum. In this post, I cover postpartum care, info for first-time moms, postpartum tips, postpartum life, postpartum self-care, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, postpartum sleep, and much more. Let's talk about the real struggles of becoming a mom, and all the things I wish I'd known. #postpartum #postpartumtips #rawmotherhood #mentalhealth #postpartumsurvival

What If You Don't Love Being a Mom? Everybody's Fed, Nobody's Dead | Blog

What if you don’t love being a mom?

Those words rolled around in my head for days, maybe even weeks before I gathered enough courage to type them in the Google search bar. I thought my frustration and sadness was just a result of long days spent with a screaming baby, so I waited for my feelings to change. If I didn’t type those words, they wouldn’t be true, right? The Bedding Hack That Improved My Sleep

The Bedding Hack That Improved My Sleep - Everybody's Fed, Nobody's Dead | Blog

We ordered this* memory foam topper from Amazon based on the price and great reviews. We removed it from the box and set it out so it could reach the correct height. Then before bedtime, we lifted it onto our mattress and settled in for a night of – hopefully – wonderful sleep. [Read more…] about The Bedding Hack That Improved My Sleep

Essential Oil Blend to Help Fight Insomnia - Everybody's Fed, Nobody's Dead BLOG

Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, and am in no way promoting essential oils as a way to cure any ailments. You should only use essential oils with caution, especially for children and pregnant women.

I’m a terrible sleeper.

I’ve always battled insomnia and exhaustion, and I’ll admit that I probably don’t have the best sleep hygiene. I’m a night owl who stays up way too late. Then I struggle to fall asleep, as I know I face a night of tossing and turning. Bad dreams leave me feeling unrested, and I oversleep, leading to feeling overtired.

Even though I was finally diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2018, I still struggle with falling asleep. [Read more…] about Essential Oil Blend to Help Fight Insomnia
