The Bedding Hack That Improved My Sleep

The Bedding Hack That Improved My Sleep - Everybody's Fed, Nobody's Dead | Blog

Then before bedtime, we lifted it onto our mattress and settled in for a night of – hopefully – wonderful sleep. [Read more…] about The Bedding Hack That Improved My Sleep

Postpartum anxiety hit me like a truck.

Christmas Gifts Under $50 for the Cool Mom

November 17, 2018 By Ashley McKeown Leave a Comment

What are you gifting your mom this Christmas?

Christmas is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start gift-hunting for friends and loved ones (check out my list of toddler stocking stuffers).

Luckily, I’ve got you covered with a few people! Whether you’re shopping for your mom, your mom bestie, your book club’s gift exchange, or yourself (no judgment!), these gifts for the ‘cool’ mom are sure to be winners.

I personally dislike braving the Minnesota cold and holiday crowds, so I do most of my Christmas shopping online. It’s hard to beat shopping in my PJs and 2-day free shipping.

Every mom that’s had a cesarean birth has probably had a slightly different experience.

I’ve met moms who loved their c-sections or even preferred them to their natural births. But there are also many moms who struggled with their surgeries.

C-sections can have complications, both during and after, and recovering from major surgery can make caring for a newborn immensely more difficult.

How To Make Mom Friends with the Help of Social Media - Everybody's Fed, Nobody's Dead | Blog

When you have a baby, you also begin another challenge: making ‘mom friends.’

Suddenly you not only have to find friends, but friends that won’t judge you when you break out a sucker to stop a meltdown, nurse your eighteen-month-old, or visit your home that hasn’t been cleaned since… ever.

As someone who has never had more than a few friends at any given time, I’m blown away by the amount of time I now spend with other moms. It took some bravery and confidence, but I now have an arsenal of mom friends not only in my neighborhood but also at my fingertips!
